Happy Spring! I love springtime! This time of year means flowers begin blooming, there are longer hours of daylight and winter clothes can go into hibernation because the warmer weather is coming. It is also the time of year for many charity walks and fundraisers.

Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

On May 18th and 19th, 2013, I will be walking in the Boston Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I am walking for the many women in my life who have been affected by this unfortunate disease. Though I’m required to raise at least $1,800 to walk, I hope to raise more! The money I raise will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to help provide access to care for those who most need it, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures. I’ll be just one of thousands of people who will walk up to 39.3 miles over two days, raising awareness and promoting education. If you would like to help support me and my efforts to reach my goal, please consider making a donation using this link. Early detection is key!

Thank you-

Michelle
