My love affair with all things Google is no secret, and there’s no sign of it letting up anytime soon – in fact, quite the opposite. In the last couple of years, they’ve slowly and beautifully transformed what was merely the greatest search engine of all time, into something I’m not sure how to even categorize yet. I’ve recently noticed many folks aren’t aware of the power of the new Google Search and that simply breaks my heart! So in honor of Valentine’s Day, I offer you a love poem to Google. OH and yeah, my awesome how-to video to get you started on your way to Google search bliss!

First the Poem

Google search, how do I love thee? Let me list some ways.
Your gazillions of bytes save me days upon days.
And your free apps galore help me stretch out my dollar.
Run smooth in the clouds, no sweat under this collar.

Flight info, game scores, stock market crashes,
Holidays, time changes, track all your packages,
Word meanings, spelling, nutritional info,
Weather maps, driving times, is there anything you don’t know?

Thank you for guiding me twenty-four/seven.
There’s clearly a place for you high in search heaven.
And always a place for you here in my heart.

My name is Jacob but my friends call me Jake. Due to some strange cosmic alignment, a high percentage of the rest of the world calls me Jason. So I answer to all three. By day, I'm Chief Geek at MyUntangled Media, LLC, and co-founder of animal charity, Friends of Ruby. By night, I am part struggling musician, frustrated writer, wanna-be chef, and obsessed dog lover. I started this blog mainly to test out new stuff in WordPress, work on my design and writing skills, and showcase some folks with all kinds of talents and great stuff to say.
