Real Estate Web Contest – WE WON!!!
I am thrilled to announce that claytonrealtygroup.com was named winner of the 2009 Massachusetts Association of Realtors Website Design Contest in the agent/individual category. We are also featured in the latest issue of Bay State Realtor Magazine (check out the article) and will be recognized at the 2009 MAR Professional Awards and Recognition Dinner.
Many thanks go to the judges – Ben Martin, VP of Marketing & Communications for the Virginia Association of Realtors in Richmond (www.varbuzz.com) and Ana Schmitz, Communications Associate for the Center for Realtor Technology at the National Association of Realtors (www.realtor.org/crt). Those are some credentials 
and it’s a real honor to get the thumbs up from them. Many thanks also to the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, specifically Mike Cutlip, Director of Information Technology. Mike does great work over there and always has infinite patience with me and my rants and raves.
Since this is turning into an Academy Award speech anyway, a major shout-out always goes to Leanne Wildermuth. A fellow animal lover, she has killer WordPress skills and infinite patience, and when I said “hey I really want the world’s greatest dog to be part of my website too”, she rocked out my Ruby.
Final shout-out goes to Chad Barczak and the rest of the folks at IDX Broker for the most flexible and customizable MLS solution on the market and for their top-notch support and incredible patience. (um…I’m noticing that everyone gets thanked for being really patient with me…)
Congratulations to all my fellow winners, most especially to my “sister site” for getting the 1st runner up nod!
As for the future, this is only claytonrealtygroup.com v2.0 (some of you remember v1.0 and the AWFUL color pallet) but there is a whiteboard jammed full of ideas on my office wall so stay tuned, it only gets better!
