At the start of every new year the same posts and articles about new diets and new recipes to improve your life start appearing. Sure, many of us have overindulged during the holidays. In fact, sometimes those diets aren’t so hard…for the first few weeks. Right about the start of February, all willpower starts to break down for many of us. The days may start to get longer, but they still feel pretty dark. Who couldn’t use a little pick-me-up? Even kitties…
When Chewy.com was nice enough to offer Emma some new treats to review, she pounced on the chance. Her top pick was the Canidae Grain-Free PURE Taste with Fresh Salmon Cat Treats. Emma is on a grain-free diet, and these treats are made with a grain and gluten-free recipe. The 7-ingredient recipe is made in the USA with salmon, peas, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Best of all, these treats are crunchy and may help clean teeth.
This is a great example of the wide selection of special diet foods Chewy.com has available. Their site is easy to use. You can filter by pet, type of food (wet or dry), and a variety of different dietary restrictions (e.g., grain-free, diabetic). Best of all, you can read the full list of ingredients so that you aren’t surprised by anything unwanted.
Emma gobbled up these treats the minute I opened the bag. She was kind enough to share some of her grain-free cat treats with her mouse friend too. Good kitty. Thanks Chewy.com.
Beyond Grain Free Cat Treats
Please join us on our Meow! Pinterest board. Check out wee kitty Emma’s shelter cat story and see what she does to celebrate national cat day. Lastly, here’s something special for my canine friends: Ruby’s review of treats for diabetic dogs that he PAWsitively approved.
Miss Emma Cat did not receive any money in exchange for this review. She did, however, happily tear into a bag of cat treats sent to her from Chewy.com. We only review products if we like them, (otherwise it just makes for a bummer blog post).
