Unfortunately, I have work commitments that are going to keep me from doing any real celebrating of or, more importantly, baking for Halloween. I have found a lot of really wonderful Halloween treats out there, though. Here are a few of the best.

There is no need to choose between Team Cupcake or Team Cookies. Why not make both?
Beantown Baker had some fun with fondant for her Halloween cupcakes. I’ve never used fondant, but these make me want to try.
The Zombie Graveyard Cake posted by Cakespy on Serious Eats is really, really fun. If you don’t get a chance to make it for Halloween, there are always Walking Dead watching parties.
Finally, if you find yourself with a lot of extra candy on hand, Delicious Dishings has a tempting recipe for Halloween Candy Cookies.
I’m still hoping, at the very least, that I might get around to making Martha’s Candy-Corn Sugar Cookies while the candy corn are still around.
