Ingredients

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Blend oatmeal in blender or food processor until it has the texture of flour.
In a large bowl, whisk together the oatmeal, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer until sugar and butter are fluffy (3-4 minutes).
Add the eggs 1 at a time, mixing until incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the mixer bowl, add vanilla, and stir again.
Add half of the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Scrape down the sides. Add second half and mix until just incorporated.
Stir in chocolate chips and grated chocolate (and nuts) by hand.
Drop tablespoon-sized rounds of dough onto parchment- or silpat-lined baking sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly brown. Cool on sheets for 2-3 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
